Join The People’s Recovery Project for the Fashion show private viewing of Full Circle at the House of Annetta.
One year after our first exhibition at House of Annetta, we return with a new group of artists and designers, but with the same creative spirit. Chosen by the group, the name Full Circle reflects the stages we move through in life, sometimes returning to where we have been before, but with new experiences, perspectives and possibilities.
Created over six months at Whitechapel Gallery and the House of Annetta, the exhibition brings together a fashion show featuring one-of-one clothing on a runway, paintings, prints, drawings, collage, experimental film and a quilt made by the quilting community.
The viewings will also include live performances, spoken-word poetry and motivational talks from TPRP community members with lived experience of recovery, homelessness and addiction. They will share where they are at now, their hopes for the future and what TPRP’s close-knit community stands for.
Free food and non-alcoholic refreshments will be served.
