Loop Sessions LDN is a chapter of a global sample flip challenge, since 2016. Just come along with your laptop or beatmaking device of choice, MPC, SP404, etc (plus headphones, of course). Everyone has 3 hours to make a track using the curated samples by our guest, at 6pm we play them all on the sound system. All genres and skill levels are welcome.
We've been keen to have a Footwork / Juke artist curate the sample crate since day dot. It's an important cornerstone in sample culture. So, for our July guest, we have Frenquency over from the Netherlands. Providing the goods in the big smoke 🇳🇱
He's released a heavyweight catalogue of music across a lot of labels from SATURATE! to 4NC¥, and Samsara Beats. And he's extensively toured around the world to play his high-energy live sets. Fusing Jungle, Halftime, and Ghettohouse into his 160 sound.
