IMISSMYMOM II – Album Release Show
South London via Toronto band IMISSMYMOM return to Deptford Junction to celebrate the release of their second album, IMISSMYMOM II, released the same day via independent imprint THEFT.
Emerging from London's warehouse party circuit, IMISSMYMOM are a five-piece band pushing heavy music into new territory. Drawing from punk, rap, techno, DIY and experimental influences, they have built a reputation for combining crushing intensity with emotional vulnerability, creating a sound that is as raw as it is uncompromising.
Led by Tennessee and backed by Cameron, Marley, Kyle and Tommy, the band quickly became one of the most distinctive voices in London's underground scene. IMISSMYMOM II marks the next chapter in their evolution, arriving alongside visuals developed in collaboration with acclaimed Creative Director Ib Kamara.
Joining them on the night are London's own Sunken and Restless Taxis.
Sunken - London's Sunken channel grunge, shoegaze and alternative rock into dense walls of distortion and melodic intensity. Their music balances crushing guitars with atmospheric textures and introspective songwriting, earning them a growing reputation on the capital's underground guitar circuit as one of the scene's most promising new acts.
Restless Taxis - East London's Restless Taxis are a DIY, queer and POC-led band whose sound collides shoegaze, noise rock, psychedelia and UK sound system culture. Formed in 2019, they've built a reputation through London's DIY venues and squat parties, creating music that draws equally from '90s guitar music, rave culture, dub and Caribbean influences. Their immersive live shows have made them one of the most distinctive emerging bands in the city's alternative scene.
