o•rbyss presents the Queer Ambient Sauna Sessions at Sauna Social Club. Inviting queer DJs to reveal a softer side of their sound outside of a rave and offering alternative safe spaces to bask in the warmth of community, while nurturing our wellbeing.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, we curate a line up of DJ’s and live acts to soundtrack our listening lounge. The main sauna is equipped with a sound system for deep listening. Our upstairs sauna and yard offer a social setting, perfect for a catch up and meeting new friends.
S3BA is a trans*disciplinary musician and artist whose individual practice spans DJing, live performance, flute, and vocals. She is a resident with Makaan, Blue Parti and Playbody, for whom they curate the collective’s ambient event Afterglow.
They hosts a monthly show on Netil Radio with collaborator Akis Ka, and recent highlights include playing Copenhagen’s Den Anden Side, a performance at The Mercury Prize with FKA Twigs, and live performance at the V&A Storehouse with trio SEMARĀ.
Each ticket includes a 70-minute session to move between sauna and ice baths, before and after unwinding in the lounge.
Doors open at 6pm and you're welcome to stay until close at 10:30pm. Arrive early to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the music programme to the fullest.
How to book for a friend: You can only book one slot at a time. Book yourself onto the session and pay, then go to the same session again and select 'book for someone else'.
