Event 001: Grounded Transcendence (Day 1)

Cake Architecture's takeover of Domus showroom over Clerkenwell design week, will temporarily transform the space into an experimental testing ground, exploring space, sound and surface through the typologies of a Gallery (Day 1), Listening Room (Day 2) and Club (Day 3). Creating a temporary platform for cultural production. Each Day the space will adapt and a new collective will curate the music line up, complimented by exhibitions, talks and workshops throughout the day.

Day 1 Gallery:
Tango will take the helm for the opening party. They are an event series inspired by the invisible agreements of tango: improvisation, shared listening, and movement shaped through collective rhythm. Moving between tension and release, intimacy and distance, it explores how people move together through rhythm, attention, and atmosphere.
Also present will be an exhibition: Grounded Transcendence. Exhibits from Artist, designers and photographers exploring nightlife and rave culture.
