SOFT BODIES

Sensuous soft bellied delusion. The romance of illusion. A temple of our own. The home.
Subject to the state, external forces manifest themselves around a tense dinner table.
In a perpetual cycle of use, the individual finds a vice to abuse. An escape. Middle class petrification, and mass pacification.
Two faces meet, two parallel mirrors, two adverse reactions: “Present” and “Absent”, our characters in this play.
These mirrors bounce images of reflection and projection onto one another.
Seeking a witness under the guise of “love.”
The omnipresence of absence itself, a looming god and toy for yearning satisfaction. There is no action in this piece, simply a battle of reactions.
The set is the gallery itself, with visual and performing artists feeding themselves and each other through atmosphere, compliance, and disruption.
