With Big Hands on samples, field recordings, rhythm, and fx, sounds are hallucinatory and effective. Yusuf Ahmed on the drums brings both fluidity and a trippy grid to the horns. Izz and Abraham Parker on Sax and trumpet, respectively, hold your hand through what seems to be a field of endless sunshine, buttery melodies bring you home. Buster Woodruff-Bryant on sax, whistles and an endlessly rebellious challenge bringing everyone onstage both together and apart. Hayato Takahashi resamples, bringing noisy responsive dynamic textures and historically informed observations on keys to the function - as you do. Phoebe Coco on the essential trinket line-up of special bells, curated keyboard sounds, a crunchy wooden collection of curiosities and environmental echoes.
