Jewish Bloc Cable Street Shabbos

Join the Jewish Bloc in commemorating the 90th anniversary of Cable Street. As Jews who oppose racism and fascism everywhere, this victory on the streets of the East End in 1936 was a key moment in our history of resistance and solidarity. We look forward to a joyous celebration with you.

There will be a families and children section, and families with children are welcome to arrive 6:30pm onwards.

There will be food and drinks, film, live klezmer music, special guest speakers and lots of good company. We will supply the main dishes, but if you can, please bring a salad and/or drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to share.
